Under no circumstances shall the Bukios team be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages, including, but not limited to, loss of data or profit, arising out of use, or the inability to use, the materials on this site.

Bukios will not be responsible for any outcome that may occur while using our resources. We reserve the right to revise the resource usage policy at any moment.

• Service: Refers to the service provided by Bukios as described in the Terms & Conditions and on the platform, including the website, mobile applications, and browser extension.
• Third-party service: Refers to external services integrated with Bukios, including payment processors, AI providers, analytics tools, and infrastructure providers that help deliver our service.
• Website: Bukios's site, which can be accessed via bukios.com.
• You: A person or entity that is registered with Bukios to use the Services.

Restrictions

You agree not to, and you will not permit others to:

• License, sell, rent, lease, assign, distribute, transmit, host, outsource, or otherwise commercially exploit the service.
• Modify, make derivative works of, disassemble, decrypt, reverse compile, or reverse engineer any part of the service.
• Remove, alter, or obscure any proprietary notice of the service or its affiliates.

Your Content

Our service allows you to store bookmarks, create readlists, organize content with tags, and generate AI-derived insights such as cognitive profiles. You are responsible for the content you save and share through our platform.

By saving content, you retain all rights to your data. Bukios does not claim ownership of your bookmarks, readlists, tags, or any user-generated content.

Payments and Subscriptions

Bukios offers free and premium subscription plans. Payments are processed securely through Stripe, a PCI-compliant third-party payment processor. Bukios does not store your credit card details or financial information on its servers.

Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the end of the current billing period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings.

AI and Automated Processing

Bukios uses artificial intelligence to enhance your experience. Articles you save may be processed to extract key concepts, generate semantic embeddings, and build your personal knowledge graph. This processing is performed using a combination of on-server technologies and third-party AI services (OpenAI for text embeddings).

Only the text content of saved articles is sent to AI providers for embedding generation. Your personal data, account information, and browsing history are never shared with AI providers. All AI-derived data (embeddings, concepts, cognitive profiles) is stored on Bukios servers and treated with the same privacy protections as your other data.

No Warranties

The service is provided on an 'as is' and 'as available' basis. Bukios makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims all warranties including, without limitation, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

Limitation of Liability

Bukios and its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages.
